The KKK or Kent Krawlers Klub, was
founded on 21 January 1911.
...(to) initiate a club to be denominated the 'Kent Krawlers'for the purpose of
enabling men of mature wisdom to stroll once a month together... They have just
celebrated their 112th Birthday...

The Pickwick Bicycle Club is
not only the oldest cycling club in the world but it is also the oldest Dickensian
Association.
It was formed on the 22nd June, 1870, when six cycling enthusiasts met at the Downs
Hotel, Hackney Downs, East London, and decided to form themselves into a bicycle
club. |

Southern Counties Veterans Athletics Club
(SCVAC) dates from 1975 and is open to male and female athletes
aged over 35 years. As the name suggests the membership, which numbers around 800,
hails from the southern Counties of England. All aspects of the sport are catered
for; track and field, cross-country, road running and race walking.

everyone. Based in south London they can provide opportunities for you to compete
with other like minded veterans or masters.

The NG Owners Club - Since
Nick Green's original design in 1979 over a 1000 cars have been lovingly created by
the members. There are several types of car: TA, TC, TD & TF. The
basis for the original cars was the old MGB with it's 1800 cc engine.
Latterly there has been a move to V8 engines. |

The Bidlake Memorial
Trust - Thomas Frederick Bidlake, affectionately known as 'Biddy',
was a dominant figure in the cycling world for almost two generations. An award of
a plaque is made annually for the most outstanding performance or contribution to
the betterment of cycling in any sphere during that year.

of Athletics throughout the county; organises County Championships annually and
other competitions and assists in the organisation and staging of Inter-County
Athletic Competitions and selects representative teams.

Marathons (first one was in 1981) - now numbers only 7.
